For this scene, d'Atelier's extensive experience in character animation was invaluable in recreating the right stuff. Everything is a photorealistic digital representation of a chimpanzee, a set design plus the atmospherics.

Creating a sense of richness and romance in a scene can be achieved with volumetric lighting, which can be a crucial compositional element to the narrative. In addition to effects and environment, SD positioned the chimp in a realistic scenography. D'Atelier positioned you where the hero stands. The camera angle instantly becomes more interesting because you experience it from multiple points of view.
